The Island-town of Sviyazhsk is famous for its history, the spirit of Orthodox culture, the beauty of the natural and urban landscape. On the island, you may visit unique monasteries: Bogoroditse-Uspensky (Assumption) Monastery and St John the Baptist Monastery with the most ancient church of Tatarstan.

A visit to the Bolgar Historical and Architectural Museum and Reserve — "Bolgar Settlement". Visiting all the sites that have been preserved on the territory of the ancient settlement: the Cathedral Mosque, the Eastern and Northern mausoleums, the Khan’s tomb, the Small Minaret, the Black Chamber, the White Chamber, the Khan’s bath, the Khan’s Palace. A visit to the Commemorative Sign, built in honour of the official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgars in 922, where the largest Qur’an in the world is kept. A visit to one of the most significant buildings of the architectural heritage of Tatarstan — Ak Mosque (White Mosque).

EVENING KAZAN

Kazan is one of the oldest cities in European Russia and has changed a lot over the past decades. The city has everything for sports, Kazan hosts all-Russian and international competitions, while art and painting are actively developing. The tour features a trip around modern Kazan, the most brightly and beautifully illuminated streets of the city, with a drive along the modern Millennium Bridge and Kremlin Dam. Night Kazan is a fantastic spectacle: the mysterious panorama of the Kremlin, luxurious Agricultural Palace, modern Ak Bars Arena football stadium, Aquatics Palace and Kazan Family Center — all this will not leave indifferent even the most sophisticated traveler.
